Now World Series of Poker Europe started in London, and the first winner came from Denmark. This WSOPE in London held 410 poker players, and made the prize pool £615,000. This would be paid out to 45 players.
Ofcourse when it´s WSOP Europe, some of the worlds best players were there. In this event players like Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein, Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson and last year main event winner in World Series of Poker Europe, Annette Obrestad attended.
But it was Jesper Hougaard that won, and the first prize money of £144,218 just before second place finisher Fuad Serhan from Cobham, England, that won £89,175 in prize money.

On Sunday it was time for Pokerstars World Championship Of Online Poker, main event. When registation closed there were 2,185 players signed up, which meake the prize pool as large as 10,925 million.
